Fitting 2014 corbeau club sport seats

  Clio 182 FF
Does anyone know what else I would additionally need to for these seats, they come with runners what I'm guessing won't be a direct bolt to the existing Clio runners hole. http://www.corbeau-seats.com/cs

Any feedback on the seats would be great to, they seem pretty reasonable for what they are! I'm not in need of an FIA approved seat as the car is only going to be used for trackdays in the near future!

Im also looking at these seats they seem to be very good value for money! have you had any luck on finding out what isrequired to fit them?

Frames.

However nobody has these yet as they are so new. They might need some modification to fit.

I've got some brand new subframes for 172/182 that would bolt straight to your floorpan allowing you to bolt aftermarket seats in

They are £80/pair collected

I have just fitted one to my 182! I needed a OMP Subframe and that was it..

Amazing seat, really has transformed the car.. Here is a few photos

What at modification did you have to make to the omp subframe to make it sit level? And does the seat slide forward enough to allow limited acess to the back ?
More pics would be great if it's not too much trouble!

Cheers

Hi mate, it was just the case of moving the original spacers around and getting it perfect.

I took the rails off the sidemounts so that it sits lower. So there isn't any adjustment!

I see! Any chance of some more pics of then fitted as I'm trying to find pictures of them to gauge size and fitment !

How much lower are they than standard without the rails?

What size did you order ? And how do they fit ? Waist size wise?

Cheers for the quick reply

I will get some photos after work!

They sit a lot lower, but not ridiculously low.

I ordered the normal slim seat and it is very slim.. tight on waist and I'm not big at all. Many of my friends have no chance on fitting in them lol

Sorry for the double post (bloody iPhone)

I'm a 32inch waist but I have some friends with bigger so maybe the larger size?!

Cheers looking forward to seeing them!

Anyone else gone for these? Also interested after a chat with @Dano' regarding sparco evo 3's. Anymore pics? I know they are not 3 point designed but has anyone ran them with?

As in not technicaly designed for normal seat belts (3 point). I know many folks use normal belts on full buckets and some buckets (sparco f200's) have a 3 point rating.

Ah get you know, I would imagine they will be fine. Several friends have these now and they run them just with the normal seatbelts.

Im about to press the buy now for one for the drivers side in my Megane now i have found subframes for it and will be using the normal seatbelt for day to day driving but have my harness there for trackdays

Haha, You know them?

Got the Recaros in my Meg but they are more supportive for the larger gentleman shall we say, Which i am not LOL

  172
Anyone have these with the sliders on? I want to get one to cure the 172s horrid driving position. Also how would I use a normal seatbelt with it? Do they come off the orginal seat?

Just fitted mine with OMP subframes.

Removed the sliders, however had to space up the centre side as the subframe sits off level, can't understand why it would be made like this!

I run them in mine, i fitted them onto OMP sub frame's and have the regular size (upto 34" waste) . Cant fault them tbh. If you order the luke harnesses with them i'm sure there's a discount.

The subframes will only sit wonky if you remove the standard spacers below the carpet. Otherwise they will sit on them perfectly straight. I run both driver and passenger seat without sliders, Got both sides to a position I am happy with! Took about 5 minutes to unbolt and bolt into the right position for me.

Nope I oRiginally had the old spacers in place and was the same, still not level. You must of been lucky or never used a spirit level as most others have this issue. They don't look too bad until you out the spirit on.

Hi guys,

Have just ordered 2 of these for my 172, the guy on the phone said they would bolt straight in and aftermarket sub frames would not be needed, is this not the case?

Thanks,

Rob
