Aux bolt

Hi wonder if anyone can help, the bolt that tensions up the aux belt has snapped on my 172 cup. Renault say they don't make the part anymore , anyone got any ideas??

I have been unable to find any replacement and my mechanic says you can't get the part anymore ( I'm not mechanically minded so I really don't know what it is I'm replacing or looking for

Do you have both bits?

Mine snapped too, if you have both bits get it welded up.

You could get a few inches of M6 threaded rod or a long bolt and either weld, or as I did, drill and tap the lower piece and screw the bolt into it.
