Can't go wrong with Uniroyal Rainsport 3's imo . Excellent all round tyre for the road , especially in the wet . Go fo the XL with the slightly stiffer sidewalls .

The PS3 price is a bit strong though.
OP never specified his priorities regarding grip/wear rate.
Anything with an A wet grip rating should fit the bill.
Avon ZV7 XL or Dunlop Sport Maxx RT have had good reviews.
Rainsport 3`s in 205/45R16 are now the same price as the ZV7.

Dunlop Sport BluResponse are great tyres. The Dunlop Sport Maxx are good aswell had them on my MX5

  dan's cast offs.
rainsport 3, xl and you need to up the pressure in them. epic in the wet, can be a bit squirmy in the dry when you push it hard but that's the nature of the tyre.

hankook ventus v2 evo12 or what the hell they are called!! cracking tyre, also good in the wet.

ad08r bloody good tyre but starting to get pricey in a 16"

and if you're minted kumho ecsta v70 and drive like a superhero!!!

got three a p606 on the front of the wife's 172, they are a £30 tyre in 16" so you can't get much cheaper. i'd say they are just about as good as the hankook that were on before. not seen what they are like in the warm as only had them on since christmas but so far for £25 less well worth it.

have got michelin on my phase 1 and to be honest i don't like them, seem t break away a bit easily when pulling away/accelerating.

Mmm I'm sure they do? But you may be right. Was looking at them next door (Ats) and the lads were saying they are good and sell really well.

I've noticed the ado8 in 16's have gone up in price and tbh they are a very good tyre. There was kind of snow this morning and wondered if I should pre book an ambulance, but was fine. With heat in them they are very good. I still rate the rsr tyre tbh and would be happy with another set.

ATS training (indoctrination) is excellent
You ask what do you think of the M001`s.
