Oil in passender footwell

I’ve just sorted the water that was coming into my footwells, to find that I’m getting an odourless oil in my footwell. There’s not a lot of it and the only thing I can think of it being is that this is coolant?

Can’t think of it being anything else. Anyone had this issue?

If it's coolant then that would point to the heater matrix.

Can you think of anything else it would be? If the heater matrix is located behind the Center consol, which is where the oil is dripping from, then that’s probably it.

Does any other oil run around that area that it could be?

Have you had a bottle of oil in the foot well and some split?

unfortunatly no, defiantly dripping from behind the Center consol and dripping into the passenger footwell. Not very much at all, a single tissue soaked the lot up easily

I'd go with heater matrix. Absolute t**t of a job aswel I would have thought. They usually are.

Yeah it's behind the dash.

It will be a full dash out job unfortunately.

Never really heard of them leaking tbh, so i doubt it's that common
