300+ bhp valves and springs

If i was to build a forged engine with the aim of 300+ bhp would standard valves and valve springs suffice?

I have seen options for uprated valves but if i can save some money its a bonus lol

The springs are only £144 for uprated ones so not too bad, valves are around £340 i think

why do a forged build and scrimp on valves?

not worth it plus 90% of engines i strip the exhaust valves are just about past saving.

If money and saving is tight then I wouldn't be thinking of doing a high-boost / forged build! (Said with all due respect as I'm not aware of the financial situation!)

Money is not a problem I was just thinking of avoiding financial waste if standards would do a good enough job!
