I mean, this sort of styling was s**t when it was popular but this takes it to another level. I was however disappointed that there wasn’t a custom fibreglassed audio setup in the boot with a few random TFT’s thrown in for fun.

I’d say that’s the least of its problems tbh.

It’s the kind of car a spotty, cap wearing amoeba from the mid-90s would have been proud as punch to own.

That's pretty nasty.

I did actually quite like the early-to-mid 2000s excess though. At least people were being creative and building unique cars. Now it's just a set of those shitty Maxton extensions, some springs and a pops n bangs remap. Oh and maybe some Bola/Rota wheels if they're feeling extravagant. It all gets a bit samey.

I've gotta say, the standard it's been done to is excellent. Nice gauges and equally spaced etc.

Just the actual style of it is f**king horrific. I'd rather tattoo "I brought my car for £1000" on my low back tramp style style than drive that piece of yellow ladybug turd around.

The thing more puzzling to me is the fact that someone could buy it already modified to someone else’s taste like that.

It’s one thing for a hideous build to grow like an out of control fake transformer but who is the nutcase that’s buying the out of date, stomach churning style now?

Don’t get me wrong, I’d buy it today but it’d have to be way cheaper than standard for the time and money it’d take to return it to a car again.

So I emailed the seller. Aaron called me back. Nice fella, confirmed the car was indeed being stored at a friends garage in Cople.
He’s removed the ads other than the AT ad after getting spammed by people mocking the car and generally trolling him over it.
Apparently a 70 yr old Italian chap had it and paid for all the work to be done.
Hope that clears things up.

The only issue is you don't know how much they hacked the shell about to fit the lambo doors and air ride.
Add in problems with all the holes in the bodywork to mount the spoiler, those weird things on the sills and tacky splitters and cannards all over it.

Essentially you'll need a full respray, full interior pretty much all new suspension and wheels.

I wonder if you could make a TV series out if this? Almost like a Tattoo Fixers program for cars where they try to recover the automotive gimp that the poor car has been transformed into and put it back to normal?

Of course, the program wouldn't make any money - how much would a mint eighteen-year-old S3, even go for? But it would be good to see the before and after. An inverse Pimp My Ride almost.
