Removing handbrake cables from tunnel

Cant remember how to remove these from the tunnel whats the best way to remove them , assuming there is some form of tab retaining them

They're a nightmare to remove so I was going to suggest just snapping them! just give them a wiggle and theyll come eventually

I remember breaking the old ones years ago. Just cant remember how exactly the are secured in

Oh have fun doing this! I'm not sure it's possible to remove them without breaking the tabs that clip into the tunnel.

I got them off ! It was an absolute nightmare ! They are still in tact !

Literally pissing me off trying to get the handbrake cable out towards rear of the car.
