Cam journal scoring

Rather than hijack the other thread, is it worth taking off the high spots and using this head again, or is it scrap?

Thats nothing on the grand scale of things. Could take the high spots off if your fussy, id prob just send it as is.

Only need to be real fussy if its going to be a mega money high rpm build.

Though i was being a little over the top, its just being rebuilt for road really. Thanks!

I wouldn’t even remove the high spots. The cam journals are one of the areas that wear and affect top end oil pressure.
