Aye?

How bad, they are on my list to own. My mate absolutely adores his and it's been super reliable for him over the last few years
Haven't really seen many that haven't suffered. Really similar to McLaren. They used aluminium to keep the weight down and in 2020s+ we still can't make cars corrosion proof....

I know there’s a problem with them due to different metals in a bracket around the wheel arch causing the aluminium to oxidise which makes the arches bubble. It was supposed to be fixed in the facelift IIRC but a lot of cars have had paintwork warranty repairs. Not sure if there are other issues too?

They can but choose not to, because then you would never buy another car or parts ever again

True! Inside of the bonnets were quite bad aswell as those corners where the metals meet.

  Too many
I was behind one of these a couple of days ago, I couldn't get a photo though. It had a hard top on but was in this colour.

82 on the road according to how many left, I'd never seen (or even heard of) one before

Quirky little cars.

Some of these have a Nissan CA18DET from the old S13 Sylvia/180SX.
I saw this one at a local car show a few months back.

Kinda sad they went really, for early 90's sports car that was actually pretty decent. The earlier Scimitar was also a fairly good effort.

For some reason they stopped making those and concentrated on the Robin? I don't get the feeling the company was ever very seriously run.

It’s just the way of the small low volume British manufacturers. I’m surprised Morgan has lasted this long, they must have a pretty robust business model.

You wouldn’t believe the money people are spending on them atm. Massively into the customisation.

Oh yeah, they are all pretty unique.

I’ve done a tour of their factory, it was fascinating seeing how they all went together. Well worth a visit if you haven’t already.

Only ever known 1 person who had one of these. Chocolate gearboxes iirc

Used to be a relatively common spot years ago, had a few (think 5) myself back in the day.

There was a bloke who used to break them like crazy, pretty sure he’s partly responsible for the lack of them now haha.

Never had one of these myself but did have a red 1.4 Sport when I was 18 (before my first 182) and it was great fun. Interior was really nice for the time too, albeit quite cramped in there. Later my mate had a red GTI and that was awesome fun, he wishes he’d never sold it.

They’re quite rare in grey I think. Although looking at its MOT history this one isn’t quite so great.

Wanna say only 30 something in that colour. I have a soft spot for these having had 3!

No idea of the numbers myself, but I think this and Laser Blue are the rarest two. Great little cars. Fancy another? I’ll put a note through their door 😂

Yeah laser blue is Uber rare, I did have one for a brief time. I do keep an eye out for what examples come up for sale.

But tbh I love the r32 too much to get rid but if I had too for financial reasons I'd not hesitate to get another.

I had a grey one with full leather, heated seats, aircon etc, super rare spec. Kept it a few months but they’re not that good, sold it for £1800 profit to a lad on here’s brother!
