The Ford Appreciation Thread

It's definitely rough and you can see it's had some welding on the inner wings etc, but it does look about right in terms of the structure. Given the white engine bay, I wonder if it's an old motorsport shell or something. Still, if it was cheaper than a clean one, it doesn't really matter. I'd love one, but well and truly missed the boat now.

From what I remember he said it’s been in a crash and the right front got the brunt of it. That might explain the welding.
 
I'd go with it being a motorsport shell (hence the white) but it has had sunroof put in, or it might be the original roof skin. He probably made / re-shelled it when they were cheap.

Oh yeah, didn't notice the sunroof. Probably not a motorsport shell then, as fitting a sunroof seems a bit of a ballache. As you say, probably just made up from bits. Good way to own one in a way, as it means you can use it without having to be so precious!
 
It’s 100% a hodge podge of parts that one, he admitted that. He says he has a complete white one that is his “nice” Cossie.
