Replacing Airbag Unit

  182
I've had a search and I know HOW to do it, but not what happens WHEN its been replaced.

So: If you replace the airbag unit with a different one, will it work or does stuff have to be reprogrammed?

Cheers peeps

Can anyone else confirm this? If it is correct, how much does it cost to reprogramme? (I already have the unit)

Just for future reference, I disconeccted the battery, replaced the airbag unit, connected battery up again and the airbag light DID NOT stay on! It all worked fine, straight swap, no reprogramming needed.

Yay!
