rsi or valver!which 1 should i have? reliability,tuning,insurance eg anything!i dno what to go wit!or should i just f**k and get sumting else!18 in january quotes generally around 200 grand for 2 insure um!

Agree! Look much nicer than the Rsi's I think and only an insurance group higher. Try Elephant for quotes, they did me good

are valvers wings slightly different to!than to rsi's they look slightly wider!rsi's are still tune able to bout 140 easy ent they?

maybe but the valver is 137 standard..

and yes the arches are bigger, you get the bonnet bulge and a quicker car with the valver, only let down is that it doesn't have the skirts like the rsi

Ive had relatively no preblems with mine. If you get one thats been looked after you'll be fine. You want to look for things such as:
- Rusting arches and sills
- Leaking sunroof
- Gearbox (some can be weak, check for crunching and ease of engaging gears)
- Rough idling, splutering, cutting out (all easily rectified)
- Engine mounts - if there shot gearstick and engine will be flapping about
- Play in steering

Theres a few things, im sure other people will add a few more.

I owned a William for some time so I know what there like but There aare better things to do with the money stick the smal money on a cheap to insure car and spend the rest on holidays/entertainment much better value £2k for insurance is silly plus I'd say 90% probabliliy there be a crash in the first year.
