Anywhere depends what turbo you want its not as simple as junk getting a turbo to give you an idea if a garage who knew what there were doing one you'd be looking at £5k. And thats without lowerd the CR of the engine with pistosn etc whioch idealy you want for maximum power and without a new clutch which you'd want.

for the amount it would cost it really would not be worth it, unless you really love your car and money isnt an issue. but then again, if money wasnt an issue you could afford a newer car lol

Yeah but if you going to spend all that money, you could buy a 1*2 for not much more and turbo that, and have something even more different (and fast)

He's got a 1.4 yeah? I reckon thats worth between 2-3k? a 172 is between 4-6, so if he's got £5k "spare" to turbo a 1.4 i don't think an extra 2k is going to make much difference.

Italian tunning magazine did it they did a bodge job though it was a 1.6 though 200hp on top boost setting 160 normally.

1.4 and 1.6 engines are much the same though in them.

The owner sold up after a while and bought a 172 as it was that mnay problems.

They used a 5th injector which isn't a good start anyway.
