182 owners, I need input please

Hi guys, I'm going to be doing some mods to my car next week and will be selling off the standard bits. I need to know estimates on how much I should be asking for each of the items below before I put them up at stupid prices. Thanks,Kev

182ff driver & passenger seats (leather/alcantra, incl.airbags). Very good condition. Should ask for = price ?? (I'm keeping the rear seats)

182ff exhaust (cat back) covered 23k. Good condition. Should ask for = price ??

182ff steering wheel (incl. airbag & controls). Very good condition. Should ask for = price ??

Also, I'm fitting my momo on Friday, so what do I do with the current steering wheel controls? Disconnect them permanently? Do I loose the cruise control function when I switch? Finally what rating resistors do I need to disable the airbag light, and which part of the loom do they need to be connected to?

Thanks in advance for any light you lot can shed on the above.

i wouldnt replace the steering wheel its good enough. also if you do id checkyour insurance because technicaly your comprimising your saftey without the airbag..

Insurance checked. Replacing the steering wheel and losing the airbag only costs an extra 5 quid a month.

I need some estimates on prices folks, and advice on my questions please.

Would you not be better off keeping the original parts to re-install on the car when you sell and then selling the modified parts in a few years? that's what I did with my Imprezas as the OEM parts are worth little compared to the tuning parts.

Totally agree, but I'm renting a small flat atm, and moving to Glasgow in the not too near future, so I have no storage space. Don't think I will be buying another car for a few years unless I blow the engine on this one. Installing 182 Trophy Recaros in the front, a blueflame cat back exhaust and a momo jet 320mm steering next week, hence the questions.

save on trophy recaros and get something cheaper and get yozzasport exhaust instead, trophy recaros are nice but my cobra daytonas arent gross either and 3rd of price

Blueflame exhaust = 270 + p/p, so say 290,
Recaros & subframes brand new, all in for 800. Only at this price if I buy them before the end of next week though.

So call it 1100 all in, I already have the momo & the boss, just need to know where to place the resistors for the seats & steering and the correct ohms.

I'd keep the steering wheel and airbag - it may save your life. Just like ABS and seat belts - watch the 172 Cup boys tell you to remove the ABS, not bother with seat belts and fit a spike to the steering column so that you pay attention!

Understanding where your'e coming from mate, but the steering wheel and exhaust is deffo getting changed next week. The seats are not a big bother though as the standard 182ff seats are quite comfortable.

Might just shift the excess goods on fleabay. When I sold the car in September 06, I included all the original parts, except the wheels. When I bought it back, none of the "standard" parts were included, that includes the tyre repair kit and camera lol. Guess they were sold for next to nothing on the bay at some point.

Ok no prob if im tbh with the milage and depending on the condition im not prepped to pay more than £50, drop me a pm and let me know

PS - when they remove it will you ask them NOT to cut it, would make it easier to be re-fitted and its is possible iirc they ahve to lift the axel ? im sure edde or Fred could confirm
