the footrest is riveted to the standard item and then trummed to suit.

the plate...the lettering is 90% accurate. most of the reduction in size is in the cutting

I picked up my meggy footrest the other day, just gotta get round to fitting it...I know that I'll bugger it up!

i think all Andy did was take the existing footrest off, drilled four holes for the pop-rivets, lined up one of the holes in the rest with the nut that fastens the original on and then pop-riveted the Meggy rest to the old one.

Just had mine decatted today, get some little videos up later. Surprised how much more 'go' its got top end!
