I'm moving out to a relatives place later this year and will have a nice job getting my Megane in the garage there.

our garage is like yours so we put an old piece of carpet on the wall so the door can rest against it without any damage

I was gonna say carpets a good idea, maybe a lil more scratchy than rubber if your been real piccy about your paintwork lol!
