i paid about £230 for that head unit about 2 years ago and its still going strong. ive ordered from them before and never had a problem

i bought a pioneer HU off there a couple years ago, cheapest place i could find it on the net so i was chuffed.

That isn't an attractive HU either, and the spec on mine I prefer. bought for a good spec, I've had nice looking but useless JVC for the last couple of years.

yeah i got the 9815 looks similar but has got a better screen and better internals.

still going strong now and i can't find a better alpine to replace it

Why people buy a HU because it looks nice and then complain about how it performs is beyond me :S

Go to a loacl ICE dealer or that awful place commonly known as Halfrauds, check out the HUs they have on display.
They usualy have some of the good brands on display (at rediculous prices)

Then go online and get reviews on the one you like then order it online or from a good ICE dealer

That's what I did when choosing mine

Thats what I did with mine. Went to a local audio place and asked them what they recommend as a good HU to run a system from, mostly because the JVC has a crappy 2-band equaliser so I could never get just the right sound and they recommended this HU, so I had a nosey and found it at car audio security. used them before so I trust them and ordered it.
