My new wheels

are they alloy or magnesium? Am I correct in thinking only Speedline do Magnesium alloys if so ignore that question as i've answered it i guess. lol

There alloy with a high magnesium content allegedly plus there very strong and can bun run with flat tyres (useful on the Ring).

I got them for £300 with Yokohama A048R's so I was pretty happy TBH.

:)

Why not run them on the 48's?

Nice, but reckon it needs lowering on coilies.

Lowered that would look awesome.

? and wreck the Trophy's now legendary suspension set-up?????

Maybe when the Sachs and Ebachs start to give up the ghost.

Oh my fecking god - what the feck are they?!? :S

Would have looked better with wheel trims - you know the type - the ones with the spinny bit on. pmsl!

he's bought them for track use...... they could look like milk bottle tops, if they were stronger and lighter than any other wheel on the market, they'd be worth the money.

I dont like the look, look to small. But i like the fact they're not turinis for once, people experimenting with different wheels is a good thing.

lol at all the 'why would you do such a thing' comments.

Amazingly I think they look all right even with the 4x4 trophy suspension.

Function over fashion

Does need lowering though ;)

ok for £300 all in.
Id have spent the cash on 4 new tyres tho.
The stock 1.2 clio wheels look better. Painted black like jon_r had em

There brand new Michelin PE2's on TH3's which survived being run off the road by a tw@t in a Punto yesterday in Reading. My Turini's would've been wrecked.

:)

you lot will rip the piss when i put my magnesium Cup wheels on track :)

Well for the milisecond while I pass you lol.....

:quiet:

i'm going to do oulton, cadwell and brands hatch reno days this year, considering the spa trip also but maybe on holiday in sept....

look horrible but since they are 15s fair play, cheaper tyres and better handling you cant beat that.

deffo needs to go lower, that fancy suspension sits to high, get some decent suspension on it ;) like bilstein coils :)

Saw these in the metal this evening at the shires meet, they look awesome, and really suit the car.

Doesnt look that high either, not sure why it does in those pics?
