Porting Mobile Numbers To Diff Tariff

Hello guys,

well my contract on Vodafone finished on sunday and ive cancelled it off now, im after a new contract but i want to take my number with me.. is it possible with Vodafone?

Yep ask them for your PUC or PAC code I forget which it is they have to give it you its you phone number not theres.

If you have already terminated your contract you have lost your number.....

You have to keep your existing supplier in place until you transfer over to the new company.


You need the PAC code, Porting Authorisation Code. This has to be given to your new supplier and they will get the ball moving on your transfer.

To request your PAC code you may need to write a letter to your existing supplier etc.... (ring them to ask)

But as i said above, DO NOT CANCEL YOUR CONTRACT as the number reverts back to the supplier you left.
