Difference between 1.2 8v and 16v

  Peugeot 306 HDi
Be fair though, for those of us who are under 25 and on a relative budget, the 16v is a good car. It handles pretty well, looks good and it's quick for a 1.2 (it is comparable to 1.4 Fiestas, 206s, Grande Puntos etc in terms of BHP and much lighter). Like DougClio says, people shouldn't slate them because they have a 172/182 - people buy what best suits them. One day I'll have a Type R or ST, but for now my Dynamique is ideal; I'll wait until I've done Uni and got plenty of money before I buy a fast car.

I used to have a 1.2 8v Club Med. It was pitiful. As long as my Dynamique isn't too heavily loaded, it's fast enough for me for now and it is far, far superior to my MKI in every single way. I like it!:D

He has had it up to more on different roads but this is the same road I tested mine on back to back.

i got a 2000 1.2 8v and all iv done to it is redirect the air feed from behind the headlight, right to the bottom of the bumper where iv removed the front fog blank and iv had just under 110 (speedo) out of it.

How difficuilt would it be to make 75bhp into 100 ?

Just that 100 sounds better than 75 basically
