fitting 182 mani. (with decat p.) with mk2 stealth exhaust to 172

Bear in mind you will need a 182 cat to pass the MOT, so you may want to just save hassle and get the 182-17 sportscat.

Sports Cats don't always pass the MOT! I've heard of at least two not passing the MOT!

ive got 182 mani and decat not yet fitted but im planning on just taking the 172 cat down and saying how much for you to pass it saving me the hassle of swapping it over, guy did the same with my brakes couldnt get my car on the rollers but took the car out and could test how good the brakes were

with de-cat (no remap), how will this effect the lower power band ?

the gains are all low down with the 182 manifold you actually lose a bit top end,and as said a sports cat wont always pass a mot mine was double what it should be

Err 172 cat won't fit a 182 exhaust maniofold.

Most garages won't even entertain it though thee licences arn't worth it.
