brake disc bolts

tried changing my discs on the ph-quick today but couldnt get the torx screws out, tried a T40 which fitteg=d but they wouldnt budge!! (was using a socket wrench to undo)

i dont want to push too hard as ill round off the screw.

any ideas??

wd40 or something along those lines, and let it work its way through

OR my personal favourite which i used for gettin the caliper mount bolts loosend...blow lamp for a few mines just to heat it up, loosens no prob! just keep it away from everything it should be near and watch where the heat goes.

They will probably end up round off i've had this loads of time and once they're seized they never come out I end up just drilling them.

ok got the screws off, just realised ive got a sheared off wheel bolt in one of the discs, will i have to drill that out??

"just realised" lol, where you running with three wheel bolts before.

take the disc off and if you can get a set of mole grips on the bolt, great.

if not you'll have to get the drill out.

yeah i knew i had only 3 bolts just forgot lol

ill have to drill it then *oh happy days*
