Help with my 172

My 172 was running sweet the last two outings i had in it.

Yesterday i fitted some new wheels and tyres on the back (standard on the front atm, thats another story!) Took it out today for about an hour doing some 50mph country lane blasts and some 100mph + straight line driving, all seemed ok.
Then, just as i was pulling off the roundabout by my house, there seems to be a rumbling coming from the car. Like a wheel bearing?
But i've jacked all four corners up, all bearings seem ok, i've checked the wheel bolts, all seem ok. The wheels only got balanced last week, so it can't be that. I'm stumped!
It happens under braking, acceleration and round bends as well as in a straight line...??
I can't tell if its coming from the front or the back as the car is stripped and its so bloody noisy in there lol.

Any ideas what else i can check?

Thanks.
