CLIO LPG gas conversion

Car  alien green rs133
my clio is in at work at the moment getting i kit fitted, i managed to source a tank that takes up no boot space, but no spare wheel, just like 182 ;) i only decided to have it done as the kit that we have been using lately is truely awesome, the loss in power is totally not noticable at all and you can even set it to automatically turn to petrol when you cane it, but i thought hell im gonna have the car for a while and fuel being 106p its rediculous, the courtsey car also handles like a bag of sh!t, skinny 165's!!! hopefully have some pictures of it when done the hardest bit was getting the filler in the back, god there is soo much metal in the back of a clio, and i didnt want it hanging from bumper, or half way down the side like the rally car, probs posted in wrong section ohh well, update with pics either tomorrow night or saturday, hutchie :slap:

dont forget you loose mpg with lpg.

my mum has a scenic and she was getting 39 mpg she now gets 38 mpg thats a loss i can cope with and to be honest im not worried about loosing 1 bhp either 50p a litre is unresistable

My dads got it on his vrs - not really any noticable power less really plus he gets 250 miles for £22 the fucker!!!

My mate has it in his astra , was done at Vauxhall though not aftermarket . He runs 99% of the time on lpg , it switches over from petrol automatically after about 2 mins .

hi i'm going to see a 172 saturday and its got an lpg conversion.u had urs back yet?wondered what its like

My mate has a 172 with a LPG tank in the boot. He reckons its the absolute mutts nuts!
Had it about a yr now and not a single prob so far! :)

my dad's astra is lpg, great idea and worth it, has to put the spare wheel in the boot though

Yea it sounds cheap.got a golf gt tdi at the mo which is cheap to run but lpg will be even better

cheaper for the minute until the government start to see the rise in popularity then they'll slap more tax on it, i mean your even supposed to pay something like 25p a litre if you run your tractor on second hand cooking oil, even if you get it for free, westminster still want duty on it lol.

yea it's blue why?

53 plate ?
lol just tell the boy why, stop holding him in suspense

LPG is the nutts imo, I have always said if i get a 2litre again i will have it done. If you want to go ragging up B roads you can just keep it constantly on petrol and then when your on the motorway just sit and cruise with the LPG costing 55p a litre, cant go wrong imo

I wanted to be sure before saying that it might be Mikes old car that was stolen and recovered if its a 53 plate cup with LPG, any pics ?

na its 51 plate.just realised this morning u've talked bout it on here before cos its been for sale on ebay.its got 105k miles but dunno if thats too much.i know for a 02 with 56k for extra 500 but its not lpg..what you think??

Not the same one then, just thought I would mention it just incase.

Depends what your looking for Chris, I wouldn't like to say :) good luck.
