Day out in the 182 and the 1.2...(no 56k)

Been a good day testing the new Canon 350d, waxed my car ready to put up for sale so thought we would take it out aswell as my bros 182 for some photos.

Was that the 35-70 lense you were using?

was just a 18-55 lens, worked well

The sharpest lense I own for my Canon is the bog standard 50mm.
An absolute steal at about £70.
You would be astounded at the quality and sharpness that this lense produces.
Saying that, the 18-55 is still a good all-rounder and more than good enough for web sized pictures.
Could I make a suggestion with out it sounding like a criticism.
Do you own photoshop or similar?
Use a bit of usm (unsharp mask). It can really make a photo "pop"
