Another new reg thread...

Car  Mk4 .:R32
I had a 3/4 plate, but the fact it didn't fill the recess annoyed me, so I got a custom one made up by russ, same width as a std plate but shorter with smaller lettering.

is this the 2008? front number plate style now? lol
seeing more of these now
3/4 2007/ old?

nice,i do like it :)

The plate is standard sized but with slightly smaller lettering

fancyplates.com do this if you order a standard plain plate with irish lettering its 10% smaller than standard font size so very subtle

flame, did you request a certain size font or was it due to smaller margins above and below?

Finally people are catching on having a recess for a plate and not filling it looks gash.

Spot on as always ste. Really good mod. Not filling the recess was the only thing I didn't like about 3/4 plates

lol

i'm keeping the 3/4...

i mean, for £15, even if it looks cack on my car i'll keep it as a spare

for those "inquiring" about the legality (or lack of) of those plates have a look at mine...lol

ours are supposed to look like this:

^ blu-tak a legal one over the top...

Mine are sat here waiting to go on the car, once the V5 turns up.

what do you do when MOT time comes around and your number plate is stuck on?

Here we don't have MOT....and cops tend to look at mine with an eerie look but by the time they want to say something I'm usually gone...

But I do get stopped from time to time:
