Replica side skirts

  Suzuki Ignis Sport
Yeah I've contemplated those, but to get them color coded will cost about £120! :s!!!

They look good tho

yea i thought that but they come unpainted, so I think all they would need is a plastic primer then base coating and lacquer which should be easy enough to do as you've got a smooth surface to spray onto so I think it would be easy enough to colour code them yourself

Thats a good find. Normally you need to change the standard wings to accomodate side skirts.

If you do take the plunge fancy doing a sort of guide with pics on how fitting went? Im reluctant to splash £120 on an untried product personally.

DO they actually fit as nice as they look tho haz?? thats the Q ive alwasy asked myself, plus they are coming from poland so if they arent right you could be a wee bit screwed for returning them

yea sure hopefully them come with fitting instructions but If not if got a good idea of how to fit them will just need self tapping screws and adhesive. But yea if I buy them il post in this thread with pics on fitting and how they look.

I bought the exact ones you are looking at from the same seller on eBay! cant recommend him or the skirts enough... they look great the the professional I got to fit them thought they were of good quality as they are fibreglass and not rubbish plastic like some of the other ones on eBay..

heres a few pics!

ive got the same sideskirts and despite being from poland the shipping was pretty quick.i havent fitted mine yet get a body shop to do it with the rest of the kit. some self tapping screws and decent adhesive like tigerseal should do the the job

the ones i got came just in primer, i am getting 182 front and rear bumpers fitted and painted and the car colour coded so its all being done at a body shop.
i have a pic of the skirts just held up against the car in the state they come from ebay

They look nice, did they come with fitting instructions or bolts/screws? Am just trying to work out how you actually fit them as I will be colour coded and fitting them myself to save on money

nope mate no fitting instruction or bolts, i would use self tapping screws, one in each end of it. the bottom of the skirts go under the car a fair bit so you can screw some up there as well. combine this with some decent adhessive like tigerseal and it should be fine. use some making tape to help hold the skirt in place when the glue is drying
