Miniature scratches on head lamp

Noticed I have millions of little miniature scratches on the sides and face of my head lamp..

Is there a way of polishing these off?? or is it a case of replacing the head lamp?

Machine polish should sort them.

I use Menzerna Intensive Polish or Final Finish on a light cut or polishing pad.

Yes, but would require some serious elbow grease and repeated applications if they are anything more than very light.

Meguiars also do a plastic polish formulated to do the job.

Working by hand I would use there Plastic polish . If you have some Scratch X try it before you spend cash on a product.

Personally I would not waste my time and just machine them, takes minutes lol

Plastic X is what meguars call it. It works well to remove very very light scratches and any other surface rubbish on the lights but its no good on nany scratches that are too deep. Be prepared for allot of elbow grease as well!!

try scratch x, it does require rubbing in very hard with a foam applicator pad. I did 2 hours on this small area and managed to achieve this. you need to rub in the polish untill the abrasives have diminished.

Really you should get a machine polisher and do it that way itl be a lot easier. But 8 quid or so scratch x vs £200 machine.....

Looks good but if it took 2 hours to do half a wing you'll be there for weeks doing the whole car!

Major difference in that pic, the car loks quite swirled, the wing now looks spot on.
