Any last advice before I buy a ph1 172 tonight???

final test drive before you buy>
Make sure the cars cold when you get there, once you get in rev it to about 4500 rpm once the cars warm and make sure no plooms of smoke come from the exhaust.
Check the gaps between the lining of the panels if theres significant gaps could be a botched crash damage repair job.
Check oil levels, dip it and make sure its a golden brown colour and not dark and dirty looking, power steering levels etc etc also.
Theresa few other things im sure the rest of the members will point out but also make sure you have done a HPI on it, take the print off and makre sure the VIN numbers all match up.

Yeah done an HPI already, came back clean. Got the performance heros Evo mag too with the buying guide, am pretty clued up, am just after some last min advice really.

buy a ph2
Have taken a few ph1 and 2's out n couldnt really tell diffference in power or handling. For me it boiled do to looks, and personally i think the ph1 looks more aggressive and manly. I find the ph2's a bit girl looking... Sorry all you ph2 owners
ph2 have xenons, and nicer steering wheels and interior
All the ph2 steering wheels i have looked at have been more f*cked up than the ph1's wearing, problem. I can get redone for about £50 anyway.
