My car in Performance French Car Mag (with Tboddies)

After doing some digging around, I've been able to track down the issue my car was featured in PFC mag (previous owner)

It had Koni shocks and Eibach springs fitted, along with the Ktec / Janspeed stealth exhaust.

The reg plate matches my car (blurred it out though, as I don't like posting my reg online)

However, it states the car had Throttle boddies (GDI?) and was producing 183bhp at the wheels... If only it still did

thats strange? maybe the owner switched the engine or something? sold the TB's? or your car is a clone :rasp:

I assume he made more money selling the TB's, then selling the car? Shame really, but then I probably wouldn't own this car as it would have been out of my price range with TB's.

What happened to back bumper?

The exhaust on the car before the Ktec one was cut into the bumper, so they moulded a plastic plate behind it, and smoothed it over (noticed this today while under the car)

Here's a pic before they must have repaired the bumper, it's like new now, I didn't notice till I took a closer look today.

thats dan bensteads old car mate, dan was the old editor of PFC a year or so bk when he did my cover shoot, he sold he as he left the magzine to go on tp pastures new and do his dream job in the army

ring andy at GDI mate, he did the build for dan, he will give you every bit of info needed

as for the site, i carnt mate.....since dan has left PFC mag have built a new site and dans/your clio has vanished

I've got all the mags from issue 1 if that's any help. remember your car, had cams and boddies iirc. i'l get the mags out and scan them is you want (went on for about 4 issues)

Ok, but I didn't know any of this until this afternoon. That's why I'm trying to find out as much as I can on it's history.

They attempted to put Leda's on it but for some reason they couldn't get it set up right...

Yeah, it appears the car had quite a list of issues in it's earlier years.

But appears (touches wood) that the car continues to run as it is now

koni shocks are good, probably 170 bhp!
