sick of my caf

just bought a new lower grill!

so going to relocate it to the foglight as i never ever use them, even when its foggy

but only problem is the trumpet i have at the mo is to big for the foglight, has anyone else overcome this problem, please share

You can buy smaller trumpets, can't remember the site, however

If you want to convert the foglights, make them into brake cooling ducts and leave the air inlet in the grill. Looks good and purposeful there. Putting smaller trumpet in fog light will give a less straight route and smaller inlet for the induction air. Less top end and mid range performance.

Have a look at merlin motorsport, they do alsorts of trumpets, I bought a couple, fit exact in the fog light with a 76mm inside for your caf pipes. I will be fitting them the weekend.

my lower grill is trimmed not hacked :rasp: got a replacment now tho and new fog lights surrounds so will give a few things a try and see what happens

Custom made. no trumpet, bit of fibre glass and some silver sprayed mesh to keep the squirrels out. Sounds amazing when it sucks.

I did have a CAF in my lower grill when I had my 172. when I was going to px it I needed to go back to standard so brought a lowergrill from ebay for £17 and sold my cut one for £15! Good result imo
