You can buy smaller trumpets, can't remember the site, however

I have mine in the same place as yours, and I like it :p

  Did own 172 Cup + 182FF
If you want to convert the foglights, make them into brake cooling ducts and leave the air inlet in the grill. Looks good and purposeful there. Putting smaller trumpet in fog light will give a less straight route and smaller inlet for the induction air. Less top end and mid range performance.

Looks mint how it is.

I have a brand new small pipercross in candy red if you fancy swapping? It was spare and never used.

  172 Silver Cup
Have a look at merlin motorsport, they do alsorts of trumpets, I bought a couple, fit exact in the fog light with a 76mm inside for your caf pipes. I will be fitting them the weekend.

Cant folk be arsed to write or something?, +1 +2 ....pffftttt

Yozza is it? brake ducting would be cool to use and mount the CAF behind that

Some kids never listen. CAF's look pisch in the lower grill imo

Especially when the grill has been hacked to bits to fit it.

Lol :rasp:

Big powered turbo cars need a big Caf. :)

Do we ?

my lower grill is trimmed not hacked :rasp: got a replacment now tho :) and new fog lights surrounds so will give a few things a try and see what happens

Custom made. no trumpet, bit of fibre glass and some silver sprayed mesh to keep the squirrels out. Sounds amazing when it sucks.

I did have a CAF in my lower grill when I had my 172. when I was going to px it I needed to go back to standard so brought a lowergrill from ebay for £17 and sold my cut one for £15! Good result imo
