1.4 Expression 16v Trip Computer Stalk Button

Hi,
I've just bought a clio 1.4 16v expression and seem to have a trip computer; its showing the current miles since last reset.
When I press the button on the end of the stalk on the right of the steering wheel, nothing happens. Is the button broken or do I just have a readout of mileage on this model?

Press the button on the actual display, from memory the expression doesn't have a full trip computer.

Doesn't the button on the display just reset the mileage?

all it resets is just the distance travelled with 999km. It doesn't reset the total mileage covered by the engine.

That button is there on all models i think, had it on my 1.2 and it did nothing, have it on my 1.6 and i have full control of computer.

Correct... same here, my 1.2 did nothing... my 1.6 does everything :approve:

So the button below the dials resets the mileage since last time pressed, but the button on the end of the stalk does nothing? Sorry for the confusion

Great, wish I'd bought the dynamique instead now . I don't suppose there's any way to add a full computer; I guess the only way is to swap the dial cluster?

expression doesnt have the button, well our 3 didnt. button with 3 little dots?

Whole can of worms, totally not worth it mate.

Just to clear up about the button; my car is definately the expression 16v 1.4, the button is on the end of the wiper stalk (the stalk on the right hand side of the wheel) and it has no dots. The whole end of it is the button. Incidentally the other stalk has an identical button.
