My new ff172

Hey guys, not been here long, have been on renaultsport for quite a while

Had a rather emotional journey today to go and get my new car, a monaco ff172

coming from my 1.2 16v the torque increase is a big sigh of relief!

also i found that 1st gear made a little more s**t in my pants than my 16v did?

is this right?

Couple questions:

Under hard acceleration at the very end of the rev band, there is alot of exhaust vibration, is this normal? sounds like it might be knocking?


Also, the accelerator pedal has had the floor mat under it for quite a while now and seems to stick at a certain point, is this right?? is it just the electronic throttle? or does my pedal travel/power end there?

My throttle gets to a certain point and then has a clicky bit like an auto-matic on overdrive !

They all click at the end of the throttle, it's to switch off the cruise control
