182 plastic splitter

just a quick Q:

is the 182 meant to have a plastic splitter under the front bumper?

It is just mine has never had one, but I took my dad to Fords of Windsor yesterday and they had a 182 which looked pretty standard and included a splitter!

Has the previous owner just fitted a plastic one to his or am I missing one?!

yeah...the silver 8 spoke ones most have? though this car was a kind of petrol blue colour and had the darker grey wheels!

U have a UNCUPPED car, meening silver wheels smaller spoiler no spilter and softer springs.

No Cup Spoiler Pack = No Cup Splitter as standard.

You can get a carbon fibre one for cheaper! And they look better! Look on K-Tec's website.

Yes mate KTEC splitters work out around £130 with PP, that's what i've got on my car atm.

im not big on modifications though. i prefer the factory look. ive checked out k tec web site. is the splitter a bit lairy?? i like the dull look of the pleggy one. how shiny etc is it? soz for being picky!!

cheers fletch you seem like a pretty helpful geeza. ill check out the matt option. nice lookin motor btw. is it on coil overs? has nice stance! mine has baby seat in the back....hows that for rock n roll ffs!:quiet:

lol at the silver wheels comments, that has nothing to do with the spoilers! There were two packs on a FF, the handling pack which is revised suspension and anthracite wheels and the spoiler pack which is the larger rear spoiler and the black splitter. The are available separately so you can have silver wheels and still have the spoiler pack.
