Cambelt snapped on my dci last night...

And I suspect at the very least it will need a new head, if not another engine.

Any recommendations for reburbished / second hand renault engines? Not too many choices looking on google.

I ordered an engine off him at 10am and it came within 24 hours. Top bloke.

Cambelt was changed 2 years & 2 months ago, done 15k miles on the belt.........

agree if that belt was changed like it should have been then its very unlikely to have given way 15k later unless somethings come loose? or a foreign object got caught in the belt?

Its stamped into the log book. I've spoken to the garage who are going to look into it for me. But they recon they belt only has a 2 year warrenty..... plus i have no receipt only whats in the service book.
