prep work and painting...

purchased some 172 alloys few days ago!
stated they were in immaculate condition and for the price i thought was a bargin.

they arrived yesterday.. soo .. i started the prep work , sanding them etc!

did the first wheel quite quickly

got to the third wheel started to wash it and sand it,
turned the wheel over to find this :

was well pissed off since the description said they were imacculate with no kerbing or buckling etc..


rang the seller up telling him there is a big problem with the item ..

he said he can refund me 30 pound as i can buy a new wheel for this price.. pffft yeh right!!!


he s looking for a wheel himself and then going to post it when he s found one.. tbh its taking a while! does anyone know where i could get 1 15inch 172 alloy from?

Just to clear up, its not a 172 alloy, its a late dynamique

you can get the wheels on there own of ebay for about £45.

my dad fixed a clio a while back and bought a new wheel from renault it was around £50-£60 if i recall correctly.
