How much should an exhaust cost? (for my bros car)

My bro's after a new exhaust for his PH1 172.. all he wants is a new backbox and a decat.

He was quoted £120 for everything apart from the box itself (cutting, welding, fitting, etc). This price might include a decat but I'm not sure.

Either way, is this the right price? Seems quite a nice price for me so I might book mine in when he goes but just wanted to make sure as it was just a quote pulled from nowhere it seems.

I paid £100 for a powerflow cat back system which was just a rear box, its was too stupidly loud so I took it back and had a centre section welded in for £30, but this was from people I know. As your in surrey try Hounslow tyres, there not powerflow their eurosports but they are quite cheep.

So that was £100 including the box? Hes said it's not much more if that's the case and he'll probs just go ahead with it as hes had work done there before.

powerflow do a choice of sounds..so you dont have to have it earpoppingly loud.

yep including the rear box. But do remember most powerflow people charge £300 for a full system. This is cat replacement (with silencer), centre box and rear box. £120 is good, but will be loud.
