Itunes help

Just wondering, since I now have waay to many songs in my itunes and to many for my iphone and ipod which is 30g, I was wondering if there is a way to sort all my 14,000 songs for which to go on my ipods a fast way other than checking of each album by holding shift etc.

Any help would be v helpful

Just because you can't figure out how to use iTunes doesn't make it s**t.

There are a couple of ways of doing this:

1) Create playlists and tell your iPod which playlists to sync

2) You will notice that every song in itunes has a little tick next to it. Depending on whether you're using windows or Mac, holding ctrl and clicking (windows) on the cross will toggle it for every song in the library or Command and click on OS X.

Likewise you can select a group of tracks in the normal manner, right click and select "Check Selection" or "Uncheck Selection" to add or remove the check from the selected tunes.

Lastly when the ipod is plugged in, click on it in iTunes and go to one of the tabs (you'll find it) and there is an option which says "Sync only checked songs".

Job done.

Then in future all you have to do is check/uncheck songs in your library and when you next plug in your iPod, iTunes will sync with what you want on it.

lol... you have just explained to him how to do exactly what he DOSENT want to have to do! and figuring out how to "use" itunes is never a problem for me or for anyone i wouldnt imagine it is just not very well executed and riddled with annoyinh bugs and gives you far more work than it should be to sync some music.....
