Painting calipers

Clio1.2 16v & LR Defender
You could go with white to go with the wheels or black to go with bodywork and contrast wheels.
How To: Did mine recently
You will need to take the wheel off to get best results.
Get your hands on a wire brush that can be fitted to a hand drill. This is used to remove rust/corrosion/ dirt etc...
Once all dirt has been been rid of wipe them down to remove the little particles of rust, metal etc...
Now, use masking tape and tape around the bits you dont want paint on. e.g. brake disc.
Now the paint:
You must use high temp paint for obvious reasons.
I got the paint from halfords for £5.99 and was enough to do about 8 if you wanted to.
Just give the caliper around 3 coats of the stuff ( its quite thick ).
I gave mine about 1 hour drying time in between each coat, (was sunny day).
All in all should be around 4 hours total time for one at a time or 5 hours if you do both at same time.

I would recomend getting bigger wheels aswell with lower profile tyers for a better look.

When I did mine it took 4 hours :| Saying that though I did give each caliper 4 coats.
Will bear it in mind. But no matter how much cleaning they require, i love mine

Go black (Hammerite Smooth).
See if you can get hold of a trolley jack and an axle stand, jack the one side up, support it on the axle stand then remove the wheel.

IM thinking that aswell. Just dont know how to go around putting it on the calipersblack/white will keep the theme up
