Whats wrong with yours?

Just wondering if any one can beet me with whats currently wrong with their clios?

Started off with a dodgy noise coming from exhaust rattley/tinny noise wen booting it, mechaninc mate said center section clamp. So he replaced the clamp and pasted it up, no joy. Then where he pasted it developed a hole and now blows more than hooker. Then just had a quick look under the car and now the center mount has decided it wants to join the party and die, looks like a massive rubber band holdin the exhaust inplace. Oh and also ther is a crack under the side skirt.:D

Hopefully Ktec will get back to me on monday and put the exhaust out of its missery.
 
at the mo nothing! no rattles, no squeaks, runs nice, goes like stink and is coming up on 130,000 miles lol

altenator belt slips,
powersteering pump leaks and is noisey,
wheels rub on arches,
trackings out,
no reversing light,
tapets need doing,
no horn,
central locking (key) doesnt work,
passenger window is really slow,
and rear bumper is the wrong colour,
and the windscreen jets dont work,

ill fix her one day :P
 
Dent/scratch in bonnet, kerbed wheels and the back bumpers scratched lol. I want a new car :o

In the Last Few Weeks
- Rear Dampers went - Two replaced
- Centre Exhaust Went - Exhaust Replaced
- Discs and Pads Replaced
- Front Bumper Damaged
- Cambelt duefor replacement
- Front wheels have developed a serious fault with steering all over the place
- Interior Climate control Buzzes
- Left window wistles at me when down

Maybe not the lonest, but expensive all the same.
 
Passenger window very slow.
Horn works when it likes.
Back windscreen jet doesn't work
Passenger side wheel rim is bent and curbed also a chunk of tyre has had to be super glued down
Drivers side wheel is curbed
Brakes vibrate when braking hard (not sure why)
Speedo was only fixed about 5months ago
Temp gauge drops when it likes
Stone chip in windscreen
Altenator belt slips
Back arches are both scraped.
Fogs are smashed.
Covered in dents and scratches.
Gear box mount dying :(

Thats all I can think of for now..... Didn't know that its in such bad condition :(
 
was getting close to needing pads now the
front struts
wishbones
hubs
disks
calipers
driveshafts
and anti roll bar are all on workshop floor :S
 
exaust knocks on rear beam
handbrake is proper dodgy
paints shot (respray soon :D)
and errmmmm oh yeh, head gaskets about to go i think!
 
Leaking washer jets
Steering wheel is not straight (getting the tracking properly done next week)
Cup splitter is missing and I dunno how to put my new one on without ballsing it up :)
 
Had new rear shocks the other week because one of them was leaking
Washer bottle leaking
Leak around the top right hand corner of windscreen
Buzzing climate control fan

so lots of leaking.
 
Exhaust rattles alot
Need solid top mounts, shagged two pairs of standard one's
Car pulls abit to the left
 
Horn occasionally works
Handbrake is useless
Rear wheel bearings rumble despite just been changed
New aux belt whines on start up
Exhaust hits underside of car when carrying passengers in rear
Annoying rattle from under car at low speeds on bumpy roads
Wheels need major refurb
Loads of stone chips on sideskirts and bottom of doors due to Cups wider track
6 month old rear exhaust mount is shot
NSR arch is scratched
OSR brake dosen't "brake" - disc getting pitted
Steering wheel very slightly off centre
Steering wheel melted badly
Usual thumbgrips disintegrating.

But I love her! :)
 
I have a rattle to the rear, i dont think its my exhaust though, im thinking its my boot as there is a little play init when its closed. I need the locking mechanism looking at to see if i can tighten the boot lid up.

other than that without jinxing it, lovely!!
 
Annoying squeak coming from the boot...
Wipers falling apart, have replacements! But can't get the other ones off...
Brake pads need replacing soon...
Think my car is going to fail on emissions, what's that, new CAT...

About it really, not too bad all in all!
 
well these are only minor things but (Sunroof) ratles like hell when driving Annoying.

Side lights dont work .

and window washer motor has gone. (is this an mot failure aswell with my side lights?)

i failed my MOT for not having any washer jet fluid...so i reckon yours would fail if they dont even work...
 
Everytime I drive it more bits go wrong.

Lots of rattles and squeeks, horn doesn't work, body work is in abit of a state upon close inspection.

Mechanically, apart from the horn, it hasn't missed a beat in a year and has been perfect, flown through services and MOTs. Just the interior build quality which is a let down.
 
Mines is running like a swiss watch at the moment.

MOT 3 weeks ago, needed a handbrake cable and sidelight bulb:o

Mines is a Phase 1 172 on 56k

Its the boot lock, its annoying i wrapped some cloth round it as a temp measure :approve:

Ive got a few dash rattles
nackered dogbone
blowing exhaust
could do with painting the front end
and a good clean

Apart from that its all good, MOT at the end of the month £20 a ticket :rasp:
 
My new water pump makes a funny noise between 1500 and 2000 revs but nothing major.

Alloy wheels seem to be chipping away from the back.

Apart from that it's fine.
 
Mine's running fine.
However:

Back box needs tightening up so it fits more centrally in the recess (fixing this afternoon)
Brake pads are looking quite worn so will need raplacing soon.
Windscreen is peppered in stone chips. There's so many that rather than get them repaired, I'm waiting for one to form a proper crack just so I can have a new one fitted (for aesthetic purposes more than anything).
N/S sidelight keeps blowing every month or so. Bad earth?
Front N/S fog light has a big crack in it where a stone has pelted it.
Will also need cambelt doing in approx 6,000 miles (about 3 or 4 months with how much mileage I do).
 
You gheyer, go and drive a shitty Escort van or something for a week or two, then come back ;)
