Lol i'm think about fogetting on the wait and just upgrading just now.
And they have obv made the hardware, I can't believe nothing has been leaked they must be a tight unit who developed the hardware.

I know somebody who knows.... Although even after the 3G was announced (and he came back over here for a holiday), he wasn't allowed to let anybody photograph or touch it though.

The only people that actually know will never say anything. I'm fairly sure there will be a new iPhone. What it will look like, will or won't have is pure guess work. But I shall be waiting.

Those of you running 3.0b5, do you have a developer account or are you winging it from another source via a restore?
Be interested to find out, getting itchy feet and thinking about trying to bodge it, PM if need be.

Good good, out of interest did you get the pink connect to iTunes display?
They've cocked up the messages input box, when it's fully extended now it types and the bottom of the text is cut off, you can scroll it back but then when you go to a new line it gets cut off again.

3.0b4 was also very good, far snappier than the previous 3.0 releases. 3.0b5 is another step forward. Apple are now stipulating that all new apps submitted to them must be compatible with 3.0 so it does look like the public release will be soon.
MacRumors are also reporting that the new iPhone will have a built-in magnetometer to provide a digital compass. http://www.macrumors.com/

I got a Blackberry Curve this week, and tbh I am a little disappointed with it. I don't really know what I was expecting. Just browsing the web etc doesn't seem to be as gd as the iPhone. So thinking about sending it back and looking at the iPhone. The only thing is I have got a £20 a month tarrif all in on the BB which I think is very good, whereas if I go to the iPhone it is going to be £45 a month. Is it really worth the extra?
Think if I did swap I would need to wait to see what is coming out as well. If anyone could confirm it was software only it would help, as obviously no point really waiting, but if there is an actual new phone, then surely it makes sense as it'll be out out date in a month?!

I'm using 300mb of my 16gb. lol
I thought the poor battery life would be an issue for me, but so far it's been fine. Unless I spend all day surfing. It lasts a couple of days making calls with a BT headset attached. Better battery life would be nice though.
I can live without the other additions, though will be looking forward to getting cut and paste. lol

Rumour i read on the net just now saying that the new iphone will not be announced at the conference but at another event scheduled for the end of June.
