197 replacement tyres

I'm currently desperately in need of a fell set of tyres for my 197 after my adventure at Bedford on Monday!

People have recommended Hankook RS2's but I'm struggling to find anywhere that stock them locally, plus I'm trying to avoid paying a fortune for my new rubber!

I've phoned a few local places and they're suggested Toyo T1R's (£104) and Kumho KU31's (£70).

I've run the T1R's before and I thought they weren't too bad, but was wondering if anybody had any suggestions or recommendations. I know I could order the tyres online cheaper but then I've got to find someone to fit them!

Gone for Kumho's... £240 for all four fitted and balanced etc

I'm gonna give it a couple of months and order some 888's for track use

Can't really afford top price tyres this month lol

I gave up trying to find people who stocked them, one Hankook stockist told me supplies had dried up, and nobody could get them!

I desperately needed tyres as mine are all illegal so went for the Kumhos just to get me out the s**t. Price seems pretty good anyway, and I've got some more wheels to put the track tyres on too!

Makes sense if the hancocks were hard to get. I thought id get pissed off with having a track set of wheels but it worked great on Monday. Its the way forward imo
