172/182 Brakes?

Ive just been out for a spin on private land in the 172 and after driving a corsa for months the brakes felt dangerous.

The pedal is stiff and you have to push it really hard to get it to stop but then the abs just tries to kill you.

They are groved ebc disks with green pads on the front and standards on the back,pads and disks seem fine should i check the brake fluid?

They need warming up first, has car been stood for a length of time? should really have same kind of disks on front and back. fast road pads on front then you would need fast road on back.

changing rear pads isn't a must really.

Yeh went round the block a couple of times untill they stoped gridning and were warm but still the pedal is really stiff and i either press it lightly and dont stop or press hard and the abs comes in.

No but its safer to have same type of pads on regardless.

Ive booked the car in for MOT so if theres anyproblesm with brake balance or anything they will sort it?

The rear disks are worn not sure if they will pass anyone know the measurments they have to be?

I think ill be getting rid of the green pads after what ive hard about them.

What should i replace them with?i want as little brake dusts as possible
