Williams in a mark 2

  1.2 16valve sport
Right if all goes to plan im getting a williams engine + everything i need for my conversion next week off of someone on the forum.

Im just wondering how hard the wiring is going to be, im not doing it myself but obiously im going to be paying my mechanic labour so thinking about how long it will take him.

Will the dash ect have to come out and will i have to change the dash loom?

If people are wondering why im doing a williams engine and not a 172 its because i want to and like the thought of something differnt :)

Putting a 172 in a Mk1 can be complicated - I'm guessing it will be going the other way too.

Respect for the F7R though, should look good!

cant be that hard...

valver/williams top mount bolted to the chassis....use a 172 ph2 gearbox to keep the digital speed output for the dash, then the 172/182 gearbox mount.... mk2 dogbone mount, all the rest should fit...wiring shouldnt be too hard either really

its a mrk2 phase 2. Im def going to be buying the parts im going up to my mechanics now to talk to him but its 95% going to happen, rev counter not working isent a issue as im so determined to do it i will have a seperate one or wire it in independantly.

To be honest as long as i can get it in and the car daily driveable in a week im not botherd i can then spend spare time sorting out the other things.

Quite excited been wanting to do a conversion for a long time now.

I will make sure i get on going pics
