Not easy. lotta cash tbh. You can mount on subframe or on the car like I'm doing. Check my project thread. It's very similar on the MK2 to the MK1 i believe.

that filter is a K&N "M's"
Green cotton do a HUGE range of sizes, and they're not too expensive
