Coolant leaking from engine

  Cup and R6
Had my cambelt and coolant changed at birchdown just short of two weeks ago and when i looked at the car today there was a large puddle of coolant underneath, i originally thought the cv joint had died but on closer inspection, coolant seems to be leaking from the bottom of the engine around the cambelt area, do you think this could of been something caused in the service?

the car is now undriveable so if it is serviced caused would they take it and fix it for free? good job i have my bike, this car is shortly going to be for sale

Sounds like it could be a fault with the pump dude! Not used any coolant since it was fitted? or have you taken no notice?

Give us a ring in the morning and we will sort something out with you! :)

Edit : as obviously we run the vehicle up to temp and roadtest it etc, so it can't of been leaking then.

Never had it before on a clio, but i have fit water pumps before that have gone faulty.

in case you haven't got it to hand, 01948 860335.

Cheers will call you in the morning :) i checked the coolant the next morning as you said to do and it seemed fine, but looking today the actual coolant reservoir has been stained so it looks like theres still half coolant in there when its actually empty :(

just seems to be one thing after another with these cars :dead:

No worries pal, Obviously if it is a faulty part etc we will sort it out no problem, but we will get it down to us and have a look.

Speak to you in the morning.

I doubt its anything serious! But hard to tell without looking, in reality, if its drivers side of the engine it's likely to be the pump!

To much of a coinsidence (sp) as it has just been changed!

As for getting it here, not a clue how we are going to do that at the min! Cross that bridge tomorrow pal!

You not in he aa or anything by any chance?
