Why have you got ABS on? It's loads easier to brake without locking up in 3. You can really take the piss in the Evo and it still grips. I'd never dream of dabbing the brakes mid corner in Forza 2, but you can get away with it in 3.

I'd agree with pedals. I struggle with no ABS using a pad.

Because I have it on in Forza 2 and only have a pad lol. I like to brake as late as I can and always found that easier with ABS on FM2. I'll try FM3 without later though.

I'm all aids off. I'm liking it, but something's nagging at me. The bumper cam doesn't quite feel the same. I hope you can change the HUD more in the full game, prefer the bigger dials in the centre of the screen. Downloading on my second console now so I can play it with the sound cranked up away from the little one.

I touched on this in an earlier post. Bumper cam feels like the car is behind you. As it should. In-car is the only way to roll unless you have breasts and race in chase-cam.

Thats all aids off except ABS. Manual gearbox with no clutch.

Just ran a couple of races in the Porsche for the first time. Did a 1.02 something.

Oh, and I have a niggle. The start procedure is b****cks. You don't get time to get your revs set. There's all the fancy camera work then go......

just played some more and the AWESOME has come out. Rather interesting though, I'm finding the graphics signifcantly better (smoother) on my Premium via VGA than on my Elite via HDMI?? So I'll be ordering a 2nd VGA methinks and ditching the HDMI.

Oh and cockpit view is definitely the new bumper cam view, seem to be able to drive faster and harder in the cockpit.

i really like it. the whole experience feels so polished, the release version will be truely epic.

Not so convinced about the cockpit view, i use the one where u don't see any of the car. gives the best feeling of speed imo.

The porsche is pretty tail happy with everything off, dunno what those weirdos are on about?

Have to say I was very, very impressed the graphics of the tracks and surroundings are really very good, car models are okay, not quite as good as expected and no where near even GT5 prolouge - something about the paint its just not shiny and thats nowt to do with detailing lol!

Perhaps the biggest dissapointment was the incar view which is very poor even when compared to last years Grid.

Rewind is nice, physics are good, just a nice package overall, I would say so far a 8.5/10 for me probally going to 9/10 for the main game

Roy is right though its nothing like the screen caps!
