I've seen these sort of shots a lot, but I thought I'd give it a go tonight.

It took quite a bit of patience to get these shots, and Im still not 100% happy with them!

I'll probably have another play tomorrow night and try to improve

With a lighter

I could have used another match, but a lighter is a lot easier. You just have to make sure the lighter flame is out of shot, and then you need good reactions!

250th shutter speed, aperture ranged from f18 to f22.

SB800 triggered from behind to illuminate the smoke
