Also if anyone has or has had this exhaust or a similar one by sportex, does it sounds any gd?

LOL, I actually like the twin 3" exhaust on 1.2s, don't see the black when fitted either.

If you can put up with how loud it'll be, then go for it

LMAO I had one of those on my old 306. It fell off like 5 times.
Sounded OK though, I have to say. It was VERY loud inside the car as well.

I had a Sportex once, too loud. HORRIBLE drone at motorway speeds. Fitted well mind.

My recommendation : get a Magnex. There you go

Nope I've never had a Sportex myself, two of my mates have though. They were V.Loud but sounded good IMO, a bit more of a rasp to it than the peco I had on my 1.2.

Just on the subject of exhaust, when I do get my backbox how much do garages charge to fit them?... My cousin was gona do it but my car is an 04 and the exhaust system is one big pipe, there isnt any bits separated if you get me. To fit the new one the old one would need to be cut off and the new one welded on!

I had a Sportex exhaust on my old Saxo, with a desilenced and decatted straight through pipe it was pretty loud but raspy as hell. I liked it. The fitment was spot on aswell.

i made the mistake of buying one i only had it on my car for 2 days and ripped it back off - they are cheap for a reason! :dead:

you will have more fun in a suspension'd 1.2 than a zorst'd 1.2
